Focus and Scope

The Revista Opinião Jurídica had, until 2015, an annual publication. In 2016, its periodicity became biannual, in 2019, its publication frequency changed to four-monthly, and from 2026 onwards, it adopted a continuous publication schedule, publishing only one issue per year. It is a journal in the field of Law, which aims to disseminate excellent scientific research, with a high degree of exogenousness (at least 75%), observing the journal's research lines:

1) Constitution, State and Society

2) Law, Access to Justice and Dispute Resolution

3) Law, State and Access to Development

4) Legal Epistemology, Legal Methodology and Legal Editorial

5) Political Theory and Law

Preference for publication will be given to articles that report original research, respecting the timing and convenience of the journal regarding the eventual publication of unpublished articles of great academic value. Note: Foreign authors who currently maintain academic and/or professional links with foreign institutions must submit their articles in the foreign doctrine section, observing the journal's research lines.
