Abstract

The research objective is to identify the learning styles of students in the Administration and Bilingual Executive Secretariat courses at the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB) guided by the inventory anchored by Kolb (1984). The methodology is characterized as a quantitative approach and data analysis through descriptive statistics. The subjects are students enrolled in the last two periods of the courses, in which the universe is 49 respondents, and the sample was 34, 20 from the Administration and 14 from the Executive Secretariat. The results reveal that the predominant style in the research students was convergent, which is characterized by pragmatism in learning. It is concluded that it is important to know students' styles to better plan teaching action, as well as rethink the promotion of more diverse learning styles in the classroom.
