The practice of drawing within the Architecture and Urban Planning undergraduate program tends to challenge students. The class needs to develop specific skills to visually communicate their ideas. The teaching and learning of drawing relies on discovering new ways to teach and communicate concepts and techniques, beyond simple transmission and demonstration. Among these strategies, the aim is also to foster students' autonomy and their ability to teach each other. Revisions are a means to channel these skills, and one possible technique for revision is graphic syntheses, visual summaries of knowledge, understood here under the principles of Information Design. Based on an experience carried out in the Observational and Perspective Drawing discipline, in which the class conducted its own revision through graphic summaries, this article aims to highlight the potential and efficiency of this strategy as an instrument for the production of knowledge and student protagonism.
