Abstract

This article presents a summary of the bibliographic research carried out at the CAPES Theses Bank, focusing on the intersection between mental health and teaching during the COVID-19 pandemic, with special emphasis on contributions from psychiatry. OBJECTIVE: To analyze whether there is and what research that contemplates the theme, mental health of teachers/ educators, especially during the peak of the covid-19 pandemic. As a specific objective, to investigate whether, among the researches developed, there are suggestions for treating the difficulties experienced by teachers. METHODOLOGY: It consisted of investigating theses and dissertations in the catalog of theses of Capes. RESULTS: Considering the 23 studies found, it is possible to make a careful evaluation of their respective contents, identifying that this theme is complex and comprehensive, but scarce, requiring further studies on. CONCLUSIONS: The findings highlight the importance of holistic approaches to support teachers, identifying triggers and promoting interventions aimed at mitigating negative emotional impacts during this challenging period.
