Artificial Intelligence has revolutionized the production of academic texts in the health field. It offers benefits such as increased efficiency and improved text quality. However, its use presents challenges such as the risk of plagiarism, the generation of superficial content, and ethical issues related to authorship and responsibility. It is essential that researchers use technology consciously, combining its capabilities with critical thinking and human analysis. Artificial Intelligence can be a useful tool to assist in the producing of academic texts, but it should not replace the human capacity to create, reflect, and analyze.
