Abstract

This study addresses the challenges of applying Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the Brazilian Judiciary, focusing on efficiency and ethical risks as sources of concern from the principles of General Theory of Process (GTP). To achieve this, the relevant literature on the topic was analyzed, with the research characterized as qualitative in terms of approach and exploratory in terms of objective, employing the critical-propositional method as its basic purpose. It is concluded that, despite AI's capacity to promote procedural speed, its implementation requires regulation to ensure rights and greater transparency in the development of activities within the Judiciary.
