Academic Leagues are student organizations that aim to integrate teaching, research, and outreach. This descriptive study, an experience report, addresses the activities of the Dental League of Oral and Maxillofacial Anatomy and Surgery (LOAC-UNICHRISTUS), carried out between December 2022 and March 2024. The methodology was based on the experiences of the league members, who participated in theoretical and practical activities, seminars, workshops, and outreach projects in hospitals and communities. The main objective was to provide complementary training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (CTBMF) to students, including not only theory, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases, but also the specialty's activities in the market. Conclusion: The Academic League provides members not only with a complement to the traditional curriculum, but also provides a practical and interdisciplinary approach, stimulating the development of essential skills for professional practice. The management and organization of the league's activities promotes teamwork and leadership, fundamental characteristics for future health professionals. It encourages the deepening of scientific knowledge, developing evidence-based practice and preparing students for the future challenges of the profession. The integration between teaching, research and extension offered by this project is important for the training of well-rounded professionals committed to excellence in the integral health of the individual. Therefore, the continuity and strengthening of these activities are essential for the advancement of Dentistry and for the benefit of society as a whole.
